I think this puts the cfa v mba debate to rest.

  6. Posted by guest | November 16, 2009 at 10:03 AM

say what you want, these parodies are better than the original.
why does the headline need “to speak of”?
makes you wonder who writes this shit.

  7. Posted by guest | November 16, 2009 at 10:08 AM

“Chicago now has one too” is verbose. Try “Chicago now has one”.
Or to be consistent, I suppose “Chicago now has one too to speak of, also, as well.”

@7 just because you preempt everyone’s “you suck” comments doesn’t meant it’s not true.

you’ll never see a cfa version of this crap because unlike mba students, cfa candidates don’t have a ridiculous amount of time on our hands.

  15. Posted by guest | November 16, 2009 at 10:19 AM

when does the hbs version come out?

  16. Posted by Investorcluzo | November 16, 2009 at 10:21 AM

wtf – they couldn’t find one damn black person for this video (and yes, I did spot one and only 1 in the class room)? and the asia dude looks like he was on america’s best dance crew – where was randy? MIT still ahead and the CFA/MBA debate rages on.

  17. Posted by guest | November 16, 2009 at 10:22 AM

@6 stop deflecting attention from your awful video.

Once again, the video proves that the nation our forefathers intended us to have at this time has been altered by the liberal interpretations of mathematics and diversity as though that could keep America strong financially and in well manicured lawns as provided by honest immigranst working at low wages so as to prepare to become American citizens legally. I guess Lloyd won.

@20 Not only an effective screening method but also a good way to reduce tension and stress.

  42. Posted by guest | November 16, 2009 at 12:55 PM

Cut the guys a break…this video was done as part of an annual film festival the first-years do for fun, a chance for people to have a break from the grind and do a goofy project with some classmates. They have (and devote) very little time time to this, and then everyone gets together for a few drinks to screen the videos and have a good laugh (at themselves). They didn’t do this for YouTube fame…they did this (along with a ropes course and variety of other things) as part of a leadership class all the first-years experience. If you didn’t go through the program (or similar), you probably wouldn’t understand…

  43. Posted by CoveredLong | November 16, 2009 at 1:23 PM

@43 – Who won the ropes course…or did it end up all knotted in a tie?
…and we’ll cut you a break for trying to cut them a break, but no chance do they get cut a break. Although you’re free to break them off a piece of your kit-kat bar.
