Goldman and @1 have upset the Gods:

I find it troublesome that once again we see the NY Time's Dealbook reporter Zach Kouwe literally copy a story theme/news from another publication. 20 minutes after Zerohedge published a story about the noticeable 'insider’ options buying activity on 3com Kouwe prints this:
http://dealbook.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/11/11/whispers-about-3com-deal/
The only difference in Kouwe’s story is a (great) quote from Dr. J.
Considering Dealbook calls their Sorkin-run online site a news blog - I would hope they would hold themselves to the editorial standards other online publications such as this one do–which is sourcing the publication that was first to a story, instead of simply copying other hard working reporters news and making it your own.
As you can see from this update, via Zerohedge, they have once again out reported the NY Times Dealbook and showed us (via a documented example) that Goldman might have been the tipping point that caused all the lucky option traders to get ahead of the 3com buying HP news.

@2 More needs to happen to CNN than just Dobbs resigning. Fucking toolbags. I agree with some of the commenters that G4TV is a hell of a lot more useful than the idiots from Atlanta.
God is truly annoyed.

If Jesus were here today he'd say Lou Dobbs is a shitheel.

Initially I'd say steroids have as much to do with the head stuff as helmets, but watching the NHL, especially with the visor stuff, it's pretty clear when guys get armoured up, they go nuttier.
Still, a 300 lb tackle on juice, netting 800k a game, is probably not too worried about peeing himself at 45. He just wants to be LT and play golf, slam rails, and fuck whores. Just like a hedge fund manager.

Re: the New Yorker article. Excellent. Good for Sorkin who is giving the CNBC dope a can of whoopass. Speaking of Boy Wonder versus the Gasbag, has anyone noticed that Sorkin is in the teens on Amazon rankings while Gasbagagossip is in the fifties? And, Gasbag is working the reviews too. Two low ballers have been removed from Amazon to get his average rating up and, of his good ratings, one is from his wife and the other is from his lawyer. How lame is that? What a pathetic joke the mook from the bronx / the ace of pace / the drunk on the air / the "I didn't break wind - I m da guy whos broke dat story" is. Sorkin is kicking him up one side of sixth avenue and down the other. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy than Gasbagagossip.

@SBII
Speed and size increases account for far more injury factor than helmets, no sure wtf those people are talking about when they say helmets are the problem (helmet-to-helmet hits don't help, but again, size/speed/violence of the hit are primary drivers)

Teri - didn't you work with Zach at NYP?
