Citigroup Inc. denied a report in the Journal that federal authorities are investigating the theft of tens of millions of dollars from customer accounts by hackers, and sought to reassure clients that their funds are safe.

    Geithner is drinking too much egg nog. There will be another financial crisis because of high unemployement and slow economic growth, the ballooning federal debut, and other reasons. Actually we're not out of the current one yet, no matter how the Obamaites crow. It's more like we're in the relatively calm eye of a tampoon, er, typhoon.

    @7 Exactly! And since these clown banks are still "Too Big Too Fail" they are implicitly backed by the federal government. This has become more EXPLICIT over the last year. Guaranteed we have another meltdown. Given the commercial debt Tsunami that is starting to break on the financial shores, I'd get ready to hold my breath if I were Timmy!!!!
