Oh and you realize how fucked GM is and how stupid Obama looks but I guess he is swimming in enough shit already. Its hard to tell who shit belongs to who.
WSJ want some aloe vera for that wicked burn
Uh, it’s December 1st… not the 9th, time to beat up Greg Michaels after you go get him out of the unemployment line.
@3 what a contribution to society you just made. tool.
@3 the minor error was corrected but you’re homoerotic comment lives on forever.
That CBO report actually debunks only one the statements cited as having been debunked. The first 4 quotes are all statements of relative effect, which I guess one could argue either way but certainly aren’t blown out of the water by the CBO report. Then you have “[The Recovery Act has not] made even the smallest dent in employment” where the CBO says it has had as much as a .9% positive effect so that is a small dent – debunked! The last statement, “The White House says the stimulus created as many as one million new jobs, but this is single-entry economic bookkeeping,” isn’t debunked at all – the CBO says the bill saved or created up to 1.6 million, I don’t know what the “created” portion of that would be, but I’d have to guess it’s less than 1 million. That’s a pretty sloppy report, but I’m glad the whitehouse.gov is taking the people’s business seriously.
I think Jared is also The Subway sandwich guy. How are they figuring they created 1million jobs? because they hired everyone to work for the government?
I think the only important number here is the 4 million people who are out of work. Thats the same amount of unemployed as the govt has working for it if you include our armed forces. Something is wrong here.
If Obama wants to tout his 1 million in fuzzy math jobs then he can. I hope he continues to do that. Because come 2012. He will be joining the unemployed!
The govt is too big to fail?

@6 Please, when you have a moment, translate whatever you typed up there into something other than blah, blah, blah.
kthnx
You know ehat else, it’s totally not good for your career path if you don’t stay in your job at least until your whole first year anniversary.

I’m still trying to figure out how Obama gets blamed for all this sh*t. I was pretty sure in my math classes they taught us 8 years > 10 months.
I know Kindler since law school -30 years. He loves poking doing things like this just to get a rise out of people. He is a good guy who has done extremely well.
@10 no one said he wasn’t a good guy.
Too bad you have to know him to love him. I think more than a few people would see this and think “asshole.”
@15 are you speaking as an employee?
@12 Your mom just called to see if you finished your math homework.
@9, how’s this – the whitehouse.gov piece states that the CBO report debunks this statement:
“The White House says the stimulus created as many as one million new jobs, but this is single-entry economic bookkeeping.”
Yet the CBO report actually reports that the stimulus did not in fact create as many as a million new jobs. Saying that the CBO report debunks this is what is often referred to as “lying”.
Over 15 years ago, after missing a big speech and resigning from my career on Wall Street, the New York Times came after me with a story of serious alcohol and drug abuse. They were right. I believed then as I do now that honesty is a virtue, and I fessed up. I got sober. My saintly wife and I recently celebrated our 22nd marriage anniversary. And today I am fully employed at CNBC (for which I am eternally grateful). People forgave me. God redeemed me.
Cayenne Turbo? Ick.
TGFD can’t believe a damn thing that comes out of the BHO White House. In my opinion, the WSJ has way more credibility. Fu*k the CBO too.
The Guy from Delaware
@12 & Co
Obama sucks because rather than be an idiot and by being an idiot let shit work it self out, he’s a douchebag pantywearing Jimmy Carter fucktard who thinks he can actually fix it.
Guest@#20…
Since Morgan Stanley is not 2BG2FAIL, Kindler should give that f’n douche plate to someone like KL or Vikram. You know, someone who’s actually earned it.
The Guy from Delaware
p.s. Kindler must be a really-cool guy, tooling around in that rediculous vehicle, and sporting that shitheel vanity tag.
“Jared Bernstein ” isn’t quite a paragon of journalistic (or at least grammatical) integrity, either.
“Here what CBO found”
Oh? Whey’d dey find it?
