Citadel Capital Markets is in talks to buy Soleil Securities for equity distribution and research capabilities. Citadel’s been sniffing around there for a while. Analysts (who were independent LLCs at Soleil) will be bought in. Integration to take a few months. Soleil name to go. Assuming this is a “just get out” deal for Bain and Bessemer. 2009 was awful and 2010 wasn’t setting up to be too good either.
How does Tanya Bravio feel about this?
Likely feels pretty badly about having had her email splashed all over the place. Or would, if she existed. Which she doesn’t appear to.

heard soleil was approached by a bunch of firms. they recently brought on some good people and heard they were doing ok.
Having smart investors like Citadel, Bain and Bessemer must say something about Soleil.
smart acquisition by Citadel if true. Soleil has some very aggressive salesman. They dont take no for an answer. ABC- Always be closing, and they are closers
