If she has to, she has to.

When you marry a rich man whose income affords you the opportunity to quit your job, it’s important to have a skill-set to fall back on in the event it turns out he’s running a Ponzi scheme. Luckily, Diane Passage, who was told by an SEC lawyer today that regulators will “oppose any attempt to unfreeze [her husband Kenneth] Starr’s crooked assets to cover living expenses for her and her 12-year-old son Jordan” has got some extremely monetizable skills as a former stripper.

The former Scores dancer — who came to court in black patent leather high heels, a black dress and a pink Vivienne Westwood cardigan — declined to comment, but her lawyer said she “is going to do what she has to do to support herself and her son.”

Who will step up to the plate and give this lady a job?

    BL: I’m going to get right to the point. It has come to my attention that you emailed some commenter and threatened him with identity exposure. Is that correct?

    ZK: Who said that?

    BL: He did.

    ZK: Was that wrong? Should I not have done that? I tell you I gotta plead ingnorance on this thing because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing was frowned upon, you know, cause I’ve worked in a lot of offices and I tell you other bloggers do that all the time.

    BL: You’re fired.

    ZK: Well you didn’t have to say it like that.

    BL: I want you out of here by the end of the day.

    ZK: What about the whole Christmas spirit thing? Any flexibility there?

  16. Posted by Anonymous | June 10, 2010 at 4:38 PM

    @15 – Kouwe’s NOT an editor. He’s a “contributor”.

    In my experience you can’t ever trust guys with your money who wear gold chains or fraternize with strippers. If they don’t realize that a stripper/customer relationship is different from a husband/wife relationship then neither are they likely to mark the difference between your money and theirs. Just sayin’. http://daysoflivingaimlessly.blogspot.com/2010/02/day-26-long-and-short-of-it.html

    @12 +1 for the obscure Enron reference.

    Yo, Bess, can I apply for Kouwe’s uh what was it again uh “contributor” position? I mean, is that actually a position or what? Has it been eliminated? I’ll be kind to all the comment folk. Wouldn’t want to upset any comment people. Those people are gold.
