Self-control oozes from every orifices on this one.

As mentioned ten seconds ago, ten Russian spies were busted yesterday by the Justice Department. One of them (code name: Cynthia), apparently had a bunch of face time with an unnamed “New York-based financier active in politics.” Another is Anna Chapman, left, who supposedly worked at a London-based hedge fund called Navigator. After that, according to Chaps’ LinkedIn profile, she was a VP at KIT Fortis Investments, and previously, a “slave” at Barclays. She also has some phenomenal testimonials.

“”Keep on moving”, must be one of Anna’s favorites mottos. When i met her in Moscow she was eager to learn, full of self control and ready to develop her client’s network. One thing we learned together is that Kremlin museum is closed on thurdsdays.” December 10, 2009

Benoit Quisquater, Board Member / Head of sales Luxembourg and Ireland, Fortis Investment Management Luxembourg
was with another company when working with Anna at KitFortis Investments

“Anna’s entrepreneurial flair does not cease to amaze me, she sees opportunities in places were most would not think to look, and she makes them work.” November 24, 2009

Said Abdullaev, Vice President, KIT Fortis Investments, Moscow worked directly with Anna at PropertyFinder Ltd

“Anna is extremely professional and resourceful with great industry insight and vision. She has been a pleasure to work with and will offer great value to anybody doing business with her.” November 23, 2009

Jesse Hemson-Struthers, Director, OS.invest Ltd was with another company when working with Anna at PropertyFinder

“Anna is an ambitious, forward-thinking professional, who has totally embraced the open, collaborative way of working that has evolved in web industries. Working between New York, London and Moscow must be extremely challenging, but she takes it in her stride and makes things happen wherever she is.” November 19, 2009

Dan Johnson, Owner, TheMoveChannel.com was with another company when working with Anna at PropertyFinder

“Anna Chapman is one of the most savvy entrepreneurs I’ve ever met. Having a lot of experience in online real estate and investment banking, Anna has an impressive number of connections among investors all around the world.” November 15, 2009

Viktor Prokopenya, CEO, Viaden Media was a consultant or contractor to Anna at PropertyFinder

I have to admit, as far as pictures of scantily (former) Russian spies go, this is quite a step up from the pictures of old man Putin shirtless on horseback that came out a couple years ago.

Folks, that is a clear sign of progress.

Reading about this, it kinda makes me wonder what the real Russian spies were up to while the FBI was busy tracking down the summer interns. Or maybe the Russians are this effing stupid?

  36. Posted by PermaGuest | June 29, 2010 at 2:13 PM

@25 Give me a break. She’s 28 for crying out loud. If she’s a Russian national she was doing whatever it was for the thrills and for the benefit of Holy Mother Russia. If she’s not, she had as much choice as any 28 year old in doing something, illicit or not.

  37. Posted by Guest | June 29, 2010 at 2:16 PM

“but she takes it in her stride and makes things happen wherever she is”

    Interesting endorsement.

I’m not really up to date on my Russian sexual innuendos, is her “stride” in the front or the back?

  38. Posted by Anonymous | June 29, 2010 at 2:18 PM

@36 – right, but if she was here 10 years she came over to the US at 18, which presumably means these people were even younger when they were recruited into it

This is a real downer. Who the h£ll is this guy?

    http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0610/Clinton_friend_may_have_been_spys_target.html?showall

    Clinton friend was spy’s target

A leading Democratic fundraiser and close political ally of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was been a target of the alleged ring of Russian spies arrested yesterday by federal authorities.

The president of the high-end tax accounting and financial advising firm Morea Financial Services confirmed earlier today that the alleged spy “Cynthia Murphy” was a longtime employee and a vice president at the company, which is located on lower Broadway in Manhattan. Federal and state campaign finance filings suggest that the little-known company manages the finances of one of New York’s top Democratic financiers: Alan Patricof, a venture capital figure and the finance chairman of Clinton’s Senate campaign, as well as a top presidential campaign fundraiser.

    She is hot.

The term “honey trap” wouldnt really work if it was a 52 yr old female and hairy COO of a German bank would it? No, you all say nodding agreement!

Also I wouldnt be suprised if many of her “targets” were married older men, who when questioned just shrug with that “knowing I had a great time” smile, and say “so? she was hot, dont blame me”.
