Many of Wall Streets finest traders and investment bankers spend their weekends at the open mic nights of the tri-state area’s finest comedy clubs. Given. But there’s never been a centralized event for the comedic stylings of the industry’s most hilarious financial services hacks. Until now. Thompson-Reuters is hosting a “comedy competition for Wall Street” on November 16 and we feel strongly you should take part. Dick Fuld will be there doing a couple sets he’s been testing out at the Laugh Factory the past few weeks and if you’re nervous, DON’T BE. We’ll all come for moral support.

Think of us as the Charlie to your Sweet Dee and sign up here.

AIG Quant walks into a bar – says ouch.

Ok, seriously though folks, we’re going to tell some jokes tonight. Who here likes jokes!? (demure claps)

So I see this fine POA at starbucks this morning and figure I’d try legging the spread. Pick up her order and pay market for the combo – turn to her and say, babe, you should see my net notional. That was the closing bell right there.

…you’ve been a great crowd, that’s it for tonight, come see me Tuesdays and Thursdays, and remember: 10 and after is 18 and over.

Megan: Hey, you’re really hardcore, aren’t you?
Mac: Oh, well, you know. I mean, if you really wanna see hardcore… [hands her a piece of paper]
    Megan: What’s this?
Mac: That’s the list of doctors I’m gonna kill.
Megan: There’s two already crossed out.
    Mac: Yeah, I know.
