    Either the guys producing the American Psycho play have never seen the movie/read the book or the NYP’s writer hasn’t. Not sure who Paul Owen is, and the business card scene didn’t take place in an expensive restaurant, etc, etc…

    Anal_syt – Maybe you haven’t read the book either? If you had you’d probably know that the Paul Allen character from the movie was called Paul Owen in the book.

    and…whenever a story is translated from one media to another (print to video, print to stage, stage to video, etc.) there are always changes. This shouldn’t surprise you if you have ever read a book that has subsequently become a movie, but i wouldn’t want to accuse you ever having read a book…
