“Equiliabration……” I think Andy used that word on me once with one of his business schemes when we were attendin’ a meetin’ at the Mystic Knights of the Sea lodge.

I worked for Paul Tudor Jones back in 1989-1991 in his commodity floor trading operation. Paul’s first claim to fame is documented in Market Wizards; 100% returns 3 consecutive years. Paul would have Wednesday morning meetings for his traders, floor brokers and clerks. He’d start many meetings with “Pay attention, people would pay a lot to hear what I’m about to say.” He wasn’t being arrogant. It was true and it still is true. This article deserves seious concideration.

thx. Understood. However why the disrespect for (only) UBS. I believe there are a couple of US I-Banks that no longer exist.
UBS still seems to be present and accounted for?

Yes, the section regarding the “Big Mac Index” was particularly inspired. What a bunch of drivel. And, yes, I realize he is incredibly wealthy blah, blah. If the same document was said to come from a graduate student, you would lagh at it but because it has the Wizard’s name on it….

  17. Posted by Anonymous | February 24, 2011 at 10:53 PM

    I’d lagh if I weren’t craying.

:As these different iefulencns came collectively, a distinctly Cuban taste and model developed, which is reminiscent of nation peasant kinds of cooking by oral custom and eye, rather than relying on distinct measurements and the development of dishes that tend towards the uncomplicated and hearty, and that can be left on their unique to simmer. Fussy, major sauces are abnormal and deep-frying is just not a favored cooking system. The island nation, by natural means, uses a wonderful deal of seafood in its cuisine, which encourages the use of effortless cooking strategies and spicing that is meant to boost, not smother, all-natural flavors.
