Some cuts have gone down in the firm’s investment banking unit.

Apparently most of the team that worked under i-banking co-head Craig Stine, who departed two weeks ago, was laid off on Friday.

“Craig Stine, who departed two weeks ago” — keep them guessing – departed as in died or left the firm

I just reviewed our archives and was shocked to discover that we did not start out with departures and layoffs.  Weird.

Departed as in rapture.  Which would mean there are plenty of opportunities now that GS was completely taken up.

Every time an investment banker gets laid off an angel loses its wings and heavenly value in its purest form is destroyed. If I would have known about this matter ahead of time, I would have stuck to my initial schedule for the 5/21/11 rapture.

It makes perfect sense except for the fact that everyone *quits* Citadel before their two years are up.
