    So what you're saying is, you didn't exaclty "pass" the exam, but you "survived" inasmuch as you didn't commit suicide because you're delusional enough to think you can try again next year with better results?

    Oh shit, now she'll never get her CFA certification!

    They used to give these shirts out at the exam sites up until a few years ago. I guess they either thought the shirts cheapened their name, or they became too cheap to distribute them, or both.

    CFA never gave out these shirts. It was always one of those third party tutoring companies like Schweser or someone. Plus without which year it is that you survived, the shirt is pointless. Not every year is hard. Everyone knows that.
