    Given their "Safety Tips", it sounds like guys from the top 30 universities are also sex offenders:

You could buy more, but we monitor to make sure there are no specific people who over-abuse the system and just buy hundreds of sparks to the detriment of the overall user experience. Also, if we find that the general market has oversupply of outgoing messages, we will adjust rates accordingly to create the ideal supply/demand equilibrium. The Spark pack system is put in place for (i) women to receive more meaningful, personal messages and (ii) men to receive a higher response rate. Those goals will continue to underlie all decisions related to treatment of Sparks.

    Funny comments, but the site actually sounds like a good idea. I've had plenty of friends (male & female) complain that other online dating sites suck. Why not keep set up a pricing structure that keeps douchebags out? I dunno maybe I'm asking the wrong crowd.

    It doesn't look like a bad idea… I know a couple people who use Match & one who uses eHarmony. They've showed me some of the messages they get – kind of embarrassed go be a guy because of it. "Hi ur cute." I don't know if I'd waste $3 to send that to *one* girl who I'd bet wouldn't respond if other people are writing good messages.

    Why did you limit the men to be graduates of the Top 30 schools?

    Not to generalize or anything, but have any douche bags ever attended a Top 30 School? And if they're not looking for a one-night stand, how many dates do I get before getting a hummer?
