Layoffs Watch ’12: Bank Of America

Project New BAC continues apace.

“Cuts going down this morning in all areas of BofA equities. MDs and directors so far…The thought is that these cuts will not trickle through (at least this round) to junior folks. Looks to be a dollar savings target, not a body count issue.”

Sure getting paid very little sucks, but on the bright side, you're not a layoff target in a "dollar savings" environment.

Inbreeding may result in a far higher phenotypic expression of deleterious recessive genes within a population than would normally be expected. As a result, first-generation inbred individuals are more likely to show physical and health defects, including:

Working for banks that lack foresight
    Increased genetic disorders
    Fluctuating facial asymmetry
A strong inkling towards firing people
    Loss of teeth
    Smaller adult size
    Loss of immune system function

How, if at all, does this impact the availability of female analysts in Italy for Bunga Bunga parties?

I wonder how often "Bank of America" and "bummers" appear together as tags on a post. I'd imagine it's something like a 90% correlation….

    It is the second directive.

We must sacrifice them to save ourselves.

Make it so, all you numbahs.

Also, who stole this guy's lips? I mean, I've heard of stealing some little kid's nose but I think BriBri's Uncle should have given his lips back.

My choice would have been 'tickle trough' but Wilbur would probably consider that beneath her.

  23. Posted by Huésped | March 19, 2012 at 5:44 PM

Equities? Poor choice. Always go with IR and PWM. Barclays demonstrated that this rule applies to Europe as well.

"Well, we didn't like being small," Hugh McColl (who was the bank's CEO before Lewis) told Stahl. "I mean, there's nothing really attractive about being small."
