Paul Tudor Jones Has Theory On Women Traders, Strangely Graphic Description Of Breastfeeding To Share

“You will never see as many great women investors or traders as men. Period. End of story. And the reason why is not because they’re not capable. They’re very capable. Like, one of my No. 1 rules as an investor is as soon as my manager, if I find out that manager is going through divorce, redeem immediately. Because the emotional distraction that comes from divorce is so overwhelming. The idea that you could think straight for 60 seconds and be able to make a rational decision is impossible, particularly when their kids are involved…Take a girl that was my age [20s] at that point in time, particularly back in the 70s. I can think of two that actually started E.F. Hutton with me. Within four years, by 1980, right when I was getting ready to launch my company they both got married. Then they both had, which in my mind is as big of a killer as divorce is, they both had children. And as soon as that baby’s lips touched that girl’s bosom, forget it. Every single investment idea, every desire to understand what’s going to make this go up or go down is going to be overwhelmed by the most beautiful experience which a man will never share about a mode of connection between that mother and that baby. I just see it happen over and over.” [BI]

exactly why I had so many abortions!

  2. Guest says:

"That's why I have not let my wife give me a blow-job in the last 30 years. I'd never be able to focus on investing if she did", he continued.

Google image "Paul Tudor Jones wife yoga."

Doubt he's having any issues of that sort.

And you wonder why I spend so much time at the announcers desk or outside the country.

In Tyler, Texas, it's spelled "teat" but pronounced "tit". Plural is titties for ladies and teats for pigs. "Bosom" is used in mixed company. As in, "Momma, your blue tube top is gettin' sweat spots from the drippin' out from under yore bosoms.."

I'm not saying he's right or wrong, I'm just saying that there are no other articles tagged "lady traders" on DB.

  9. asdf says:

To be fair when my lips touch girl's bosoms I'm usually not thinking about any investment ideas either.

  10. FSF says:

Out of the corner of his eye PTJ saw that the tics of the chart really formed a ladder and mounted to a secret place above technical resistance — he could climb to it, if he climbed alone, and once there he could suck on the pap of life, pull down the incomparable milk of capital…

What a piece of human waste!

  15. Lloyd B says:

So you know, many years ago, when Sonia and Paul were dating (and she was barely out of her teens, from Australia), he neglected to tell her that he had the gift that keeps on giving. So she got it too. He's kind of a real dick. Totally deserved getting a ton of daughters, so he can now experience what some of the women's families experienced when he was dating. Karma, Paul!

  16. Luke Perry says:

He's right about the kids, but I'm not so sure about the divorce. The synergy of a mid-life crisis and a return to the golden lifestyle of coke and hookers can be the best thing that ever happened to a career. At this point it's really my only hope.
