Want To Blow Your Hard-Earned Bitcoins On 50 Cent’s Latest Album?

Now you can.

Bitcoin got itself some street cred Tuesday, when top-selling rap star 50 Cent announced that his new album, Animal Ambition, would be available for purchase with the digital currency. Fans of 50 Cent, aka Curtis Jackson III, will be able to click on a bitcoin payment option when they check out of his Shopify store, according to a statement from Atlanta-based processor Bitpay, which will process the transaction. As with all Bitpay’s clients, the artist will have the option of settling in bitcoin, dollars or a combination of both. 50 Cent could not be immediately reached for comment.

    The artist formally known as 50cent would now like to be referred to 0.0011Bitcoin (actual amount may vary at different times)

      There's a rare opportunity to top Prince here: change his name to not just a symbol…but a ratio. How fucking cool is a gangster named:

      { BTC = $x / $0.5 }

      – KardashianCoin, soon to be 50% of KanyeCoin, 18 years, 18 YEARS!

  2. Guest says:

    Can I get his new album if I teach him how to put one over the plate?
