Some white people love to try to make jokes in the perceived dialect of uneducated blacks. Generally it doesn't work. At least not up in here.
I should add that my comment @15 referred to a comment @13 that has since been edited out. I forget what BL had posted there originally... sort of.
@11 How dare you! He's a nice lady!

Dealbreaker breaking in a new writer. While a bit long for DB, any focus on China is probably a worthwhile read.
@1 How dare you! She's a nice lady!
This is very inspiring. That you can lose $6 billion, and pick yourself up by your own bootstraps full of hidden past investor's cash and continue on, hoping the world will open it's mouth to you and say, "Come". I need to write him and get some tips on raising money. Although, wasn't he supposed to open this fund two years ago,according to Bloomberg? That article says: "Maounis plans to open Greenwich, Connecticut-based Verition Fund Management LLC later this year with more than $200 million, according to two former investors briefed on the venture. Clients with money in Amaranth when it shut down won't pay incentive fees for three years, said the investors, who asked not to be identified because the fund is private. While the fund won't charge a management fee, all investors will pay the fund's expenses." (Bloomberg, May 10, 2008) Hmmm.

Gonna take the unpopular position that Barney Frank producing non-perfect legislation is much better than the cluster of conservatives who are sitting out the process putting ideology above everything.
Lewis is talking nonsense. People always analyze the future based on what they think they see in the present, and they can't even correctly analyze the present without their own biases and tunnel vision interfering with reality. Thus, half wrong in the present translates to completely wrong in the future.

SEC picked the wrong donkey to arbitrarily pin tale on.
Top and bottom out on the town without beards.
Maybe Jack can recommend a good Suzy Wetlaufer type reporter to Obama so he can better get his message out there.
Though Kouwe probably should not have been hired, still feel bad for people tossed out into this job market, in any industry. Just kind of sucks.
He will get to kick a lot of ass in prison, using his ass as a fist.
Agree with @28. The letterhead more than makes up for any losses.
Gary Coleman. Kinda sad. One of those people who you don't care is alive really, but once dead, reminds of you of mortality and the passing of time. Almost makes me want to do something productive before my time comes.
@40 Please be more specific, can't read between the lines of your juvenile innuendo.
@22... wow. nice.
