As a certified typomaker, I liked the old headline better.
Neither Obama nor McCain have a clue what's going on... but McCain can't even speak English when the subject comes to anything Wall St./Economy-related. I'm really surprised his comments about a "social contract between Capitalism and the working people" haven't been picked up more, since that's about the biggest abortion of reason and language I've ever heard in a political campaign. Beyond that, I think in his core, McCain is more hostile towards capitalists than Obama is. Obama has an unrealistic, namby-pamby vision of capitalism and big-governmentism can work together in harmony. McCain hates rich pricks who never "served their country" in some way.
@21 First of all, look at the timestamp on the article you mention. Second of all, i DID mention it, citing Gasparino talking on CNBC. But obviously, cause that's, you know TV and all, I couldn't link. But it's right there in the opening 'graph.
I knew I was jinxing things.
It's ridiculous to suggest that a gold medal be worth 5x (or four points more than) a bronze. Given that the vast majority of contestants in any sport don't even medal, there has to be more of a reward (relative to gold) for just getting on the podium.
Was just thinking: It's too bad we can't just make the entire country one big solar field. Think about it. Pure clean energy, and nobody to waste it doing anything "unsustainable".
Print screen requires use of company email. Camera pics can be done on a personal phone. Big diff in level of personal security.
Ugh. Guest @2:52 just stole the joke I was about to make. Except that its Beeks, Clarence Beeks, not Meeks.
Actually, from what we've heard, it is pretty tough, even to do something as fwding an email to yourself at some commercial provider. Merrill has all kinds of crazy controls in place, it seems, coupled with stiff penalties for violation.
Anal_yst FriendFinder IS AdultFriendFinder. It was acquired by an investment vehicle that acquired PentHouse and took on its brand name.
@9:00 Good point. That's irritating.
Guys, Thanks for the heads up. I figured that big coffee buyers were sophisticated market participants, but I admit it's not a question I'd looked into before. One's corpus of knowledge can only span so far. Thanks for broadening my perspective (even if the two of you are sort of suggesting opposite things).
