Given the meaning behind the upsidedown flag, that sent shivers down my spine.

@Tax "An Anal, my love... pictures or it didn't happen." That's just so wrong on so many different levels.

"In order to serve the larger public good" .. "you bear an extra responsibility". Banks bear no responsibility to serve the public good, large or small. I'm so fucking livid right now I'm shaking.

Burn it down, start over again. $31B towards a rail system would have made more sense.

SEC implodes. Budget Skyrockets. A new regulation agency is formulated to step in to the SECs place, effectively, such that "supreme regulation requires patriotic sacrifices on the parts of investors to ensure incidents like those witnessed in 2008/2009 don't happen again."

All taxes should be shown on the firm side: they should trendline net effective taxes across pay scales and subtract that from salaries. If you made 100k before and the trendlined tax is 35%, now you make 65k. You don't ever see the word "tax" on your paycheck again. Notice the argument isn't that the money is being spent on the financial system, but that it's tax money?

@cluzo Distractions aren't allowed. I'm new to the board, what's a girl? Olivia Gramelspacher is cute -- I wouldn't mind replacing that last name with something less throatish though.
