Man, one must see the coverage of this story in Indiana. She is allowed to stay in her Geist Reservoir house until June. People around these parts show no sympathy towards her. They do feel sorry for the kids, however. And she filed for divorce on December 30, which does raise eyesbrows as well. Eh, she had as much experience being a CFO than Erin Callan did. They can be cellmates.

That would be Congresswoman Nydia Velasquez. I am sorry, but Gary Ackerman is greatest House member representing New York City. I like his blunt honesty.

As an individual of Dakota Sioux Indian descent, I am concerned. Founded as an Indian school, I hope it doesn't affect the Native American students pertaining to financial aid. And the school has investments with The Blackstone Group...capital calls must be drivin' them crazy! The Blackstone Group, it is not a rock band...it's PE.

I agree with the flat tax. CPAs and tax lawyers should find another line of work. Steve Forbes is a genius. On another note, I am so psyched! I won an eBay auction for a Phish ticket to see the boys at Post-Gazette Pavillion in Burgettstown, PA. I can't wait. My two purposes are to see Phish and find a future wife. If you think I am the only 30+ year-old guy doing this, I am not. We had a discussion in a chat room, and we all agreed on this point. Why in the HELL get married to someone our own age, when we darn know well we will want someone later who is younger?? Thus, we are going to be hitting on the college-age hippies. And if it all works out and I get married in the near future, the name of my first daughter will be Erin Callan Powell. :D Phish is back, and if you want to get hooked up with a hippie girl, go to a Phish show. And trust me, they are of lower maintenance than a Wall Street babe. Does anyone have any Jones Beach extra tickets to sell at face value?????

WOW, Harvard has gone to hell since Drew Gilpin Faust became President. And people wonder why Harvard only had male Presidents. What does a Civil War professor who wishes the South won the Civil War (she's from Virginia, and trust me, books she's authored blantanty show her sympathies towards the Stars and Bars) know about financing?? She didn't even own her own home when she was at Radcliffe; Harvard provided her one as an incentive to poach her from the University of Pennsylvania. Man, I can't WAIT to return to Cambridge next week! Drew Faust, Harvard's UGLIEST and WORST President...I bet now they miss "Lounge Lizard" Lawrence H. Summers.

I truly enjoy when Gasbag takes cell phone calls when he is in the Octabox. And if CNBC does not renew Maria BARFiromo's contract in March, that would improve CNBC so much. Besides being married to the son of a notorious 1990s "green mailer," what makes her so special??? Kinda scary her birthday in on September 11, and is the same age as my sister. Actually, just fire Maria and hire Erin Callan to replace her. Erin could then be what she has always dreamed since graduating from Harvard, a "media celebrity!" Besides, I need Erin to help me with my taxes...how does one file when you receive six K-1 tax schedules in March, but have until October 15 to do it???

Is this the same guy (Bove) who reveled when Fuld threw Gregory and Callan under the bus??? In hinsight, and I know I don't work in the financial industry, LEH should never had failed. True, Fuld had a "Pet Rock" Board of Directors. True, it was overleveraged. True, the firm most likely had many enemies on Wall Street. But Jamie Dimon turned off the spigot to LEH that Friday prior to it declaring Chapter 11, and the Feds would not "backstop" BCS or BAC on the purchase of the firm. FACE IT, this was an epic failure. Had all this not happened, BAC would not have purchased MER. And then went AIG... And then went WaMu... And then went WB... And I do feel GS has wayyyy too much influence pertaining to monetary and political affairs. Just my opinion, as a hippie shareholder activist Phish phan...

I just noticed something. It seems that the staff of CNBC all get excited when Gasbag (LOL) and Kneale start to converse with each other. Kneale accuses Gasbag of his poor reporting and "sources," Gasbag replies "please let me finish...," and all the others just sit and grin. I can't believe Gasbag was a reporter with "The New York Post." Gasbag, the Andrea Peyser of CNBC... Kneale looks like he came from a Dilbert cartoon strip.

Three reasons she WILL be indicted: (1) Signing off on the 2008 Q1 10-Q, which was misleading, violating Title IX, Section 906, Section 1350 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002; penalties: (a) "certifying" a false report; up to $1M fine, up to ten years in prison (b) "willfully certifying" a false report; up to $10M fine, up to twenty years in prison (2) raising $6B in capital in early June, selling shares at $28/share on false financial premises; some of the victims: Hank Greenberg of AIG, Blackrock and Wes Edens of Fortress Investment Group (3) changing her story on a mark pertaining to a private equity investment, in which David Einhorn can corroborate There you go...I just "indicted" her. Hey, I just came back from a Phish chat room, and some of the Wall Street phans and actually, all of us have agreed on this point... Erin Callan should dress up as "The White Witch" of Narnia for "Playboy" And I think I did play a role in her "nervous breakdown"; she could not stand the pressure of being mocked by a hippie shareholder of CS, so she lost it I wanted her to be in a school girl outfit, but they shot my idea down, said she was too old :( However, I would still bang her though!~ Even if she is 43-years old...and has the hands of a 60 year-old woman *~*~POOF*~*~

I thoroughy enjoyed GOOFING on everyone today, it was pretty enjoyable. I am willing to smoke up ANY of you guys when I get back to the East Coast. I have nothing against you at all, honestly. I enjoyed the snide comments; by reading them, it makes me want to return back to the Boston/Cambridge area even more in several weeks. And to those who call my stock portfolio DEPLORABLE, it could be worse, I could have invested with Bernard Madoff. See you guys tomorrow...peace, love, flowers, and don't run with scissors!

I made some money today...CVC gave me $0.08, and BK gave me $0.24 on dividends today. Besides, it is a foundation for my global hedge fund. I am the acorn that will become the oak! True, it is not the BIG$$$$ you guys get, but it is a start...at least the money was not spent on cocaine. And you can advise me on what to purchase in the future. I thought you were all the "Masters of the Universe," and were like all powerful and stuff...

LOL, and YES, I am serious! Phish is playing Bonnaroo, and I can't wait! I think they should choose CS myself...heard they are a bunch of stoners over there anyway, especially in the Global Hedge Fund department. :D

Not to sound rude, but for a bunch of financial types, you all complain too much. You act like UAW workers at the Big Three plants; when times are great, you live off your overtime, overextending yourselves. Then when the downturn occurs, I would say nearly half of you have no "rainy day" fund and you don't not how to cut your personal costs. But what the PHUCK do I know, I am just a silly unitholder of BX and a Phish phan as well, didn't even get tickets this weekend to any shows :/ ~! And to those in the financial industry who earn all this big $$$, if you all are getting laid off or hate your jobs, why not pool your capital together and start a boutique firm???? Stephen Schwarzman and Peter Peterson started with a $400,000 portfolio and a shared secretary. I would rather invest capital with others and start my own firm than spend millions on a mortgage for an overpriced condo on the Upper East Side for bragging rights. So go ahead, flame away...and to those who work at GS, Ruth Simmons is the biggest WASTE of an Ivy League President, and should not even be on the board of directors; I plan to vote NO when it comes to her re-election. She and her ilk destroyed $800M of Brown's endowment; now the students can't even have their own swimming pool!
