She's still there.... and she's probably the only one on the antiquated NYSE floor anymore.

comment 4 is awesome. For me travelling through Penn Station and getting on the LIRR is a miserable enough existance. Adding booze to the equation of my evening commute would send me a nosedive of existential self-pity.

I suspect that Chuck Schumer doesn't really hate Goldman.

You mean besides the fact we already know it's going to be Tom Seaver? The Fresh Charles Prince of course.

Also reedamable for golf-clubs: cash. Also good for lap dances and narcotics. Not so much with spirit points.

Circuit City? Perhaps the Treasury could expand the TARP to include Wide-screen televisions....

While Iceland may be (barely) more populous then Lehman Bros, the aggregated dick size of both participants would have Lehman winning hands down.

If I got no bonus at all, I'd likely default on my house payments. Oh the irony, Barney. Although I do follow the perverse logic here, the thing about bonuses is that you can cut them the fuck off when you write-down 18 billion dollars of goodwill, unlike salary. Cause you don't think that motherfuckers are just going to accept their 150k base?

19 billion in "goodwill" written down. I hope to god, that weren't holding goodwill as reserves.

"Nationalizing private pensions so you that the government can raid the money to pay-off it's foreign debts elsewhere to stay solvent." Holy sncheikies! Hugo Chavez must be happy with his investment of Oil Largesse into Argentine Debt.

Hockey's problems are that they have too many people with funny accents commentating during the game. If they could get Joe Buck and Tim McCarver to do their bang-up job on Hockey, the sport would really take-off.

Venezuela and Iran "need" $80 to remain profitable? So prior to November of 2007, they were subsidizing their oil production as a gift to the rest of the world?
