*sinister laugh*
*yawn* That all you got?
7: Bingo.
You don't become Governor of Illinois without the Chicago machine, silly rabbits. I'm surprised I have to explain the humor behind attempting to lure MBAs from top programs into the Chicago political machine for $20/hr, or the connection to current economic and municipal-political events.
"Yeah the Depression turned out terrible for FDR's legacy." So is Obama supposed to be FDR or the Depression in this analogy?
She's a Quilted Northern gal. Duh.
"Posted by guest, Dec 18, 2008 9:45AM EP, its syke not psyche. - Bboy" Not where I grew up.
@2: My opinion of you has deteriorated. Re-examine the canon of finance film and report back when you are wise to your bumble.
"Posted by guest, Dec 16, 2008 3:23PM Who is this SPIC to which you refer? That's pretty edgy language, EP." Apparently, my spell checker thought that was cute. Thanks for the catch.
"Posted by guest, Dec 16, 2008 2:45PM Accidentally? What makes you think any of these bubbles are "accidental?"" Hence the quotes, swifty.
"The retroactive bit is over the top though (either mention precise facts about precise individuals -- for instance about that particular individual if you do have real knowledge first-hand -- or keep silently investigating if in doubt, but stay balanced and nonpartisan)." I was balanced and nonpartisan. I said every politician from Illinois. That includes all party affiliations without prejudice. What is more balanced and nonpartisan than mandatory, universal application?
"Posted by guest, Dec 12, 2008 10:49AM devcelops ? Is Carney back?" Nope, that was pure ep. Sorry.
"Posted by guest, Dec 04, 2008 11:16AM Bess, I'm going to modify your statement: "No one wants to own any interest in or collateralized by or indirectly exposed to or even ride in a car manufactured by these liquidity black holes anymore, Senator" I'm not Bess.
"Posted by Harald, Dec 01, 2008 10:14AM "recoil in shock in horror" Choose "in horror" EP, because the word "recoil" already has an element of shock in it." Thanks for the catch. I went with the cliche. I am taking personal note of the redundancy in that idiom however. Never noticed that before.
"@EP Out of curiousity, who did you vote for? Nader?" I don't vote in the U.S.
"Posted by guest, Nov 25, 2008 1:37PM Are you kdding EP? That term sheet was available on WSJ.com yesterday...get with the frickin program... Maybe you should just stick to your absolutely ridicuously long pieces of BS..." I think you need your sarcasm indicator adjusted.
TGFD: I like your C trade. Seriously. Will be interesting to see where it goes at the open. Could have been a great call.
Pink: I bet that's it. Also, you never send me flowers anymore. What gives?
"Posted by VOL IS KING, Nov 22, 2008 12:25AM Hey EP look into this if you have some free time." I hate the word "aforementioned." -ep
Dear 322, 328: You should be aware that Section 240.30 (1)(a) of the New York Penal code provides in part that: A person is guilty of aggravated harassment in the second degree when, with intent to harass, annoy, threaten or alarm another person, he or she: ...communicates with a person, anonymously or otherwise by telephone, or by telegraph, mail or any other form of written communication, in a manner likely to cause annoyance or alarm; or (b) causes a communication to be initiated by mechanical or electronic means or otherwise, with a person, anonymously or otherwise, by telephone, or by telegraph, mail or any other form of written communication, in a manner likely to cause annoyance or alarm... (end) Similar sentiments are codified in Section 1708.7 of the California Civil Code. As you have continued a pattern of harassment and unwanted communication that could be taken by a reasonable person as threatening, and as you have refused to cease when so requested, we have taken the liberty of recording the series of IP Addresses you have used to engage in this conduct. We have also begun communicating with the abuse contacts for the ISPs/educational entities related to these addresses and requested they retain any connection, MAC Address information, proxy logs or other security logs in the event that we are inclined to file a civil or criminal complaint in relation to your conduct. At the very least you have violated Dealbreaker.com's terms of service. At this point, I would advise you to apologize in such a fashion that we can all be sure on this end that it was a bit of immature teasing that got excessively out of hand. In the absence of that kind of a response we are going to have to contact the proper authorities.
