Word on the street or at least my street is that these guys were on the short end of the recent run in natural gas. Anyone else heard this?

Please note. I didn't author this community post. I simply promoted it onto the front page to DealBreaker. For some strange reason, my name got substituted for the author's name.
Oh, quirky internet. What weird bugs you dream up.

Sorry, I've been in meetings all day. $1.5 billion was the number I heard thrown out. I can't verify that this is in fact true. This may be John Arnold's way of giving back all the $$ he made off the Amaranth debacle.

Can we call the march/April spread the "Widowmaker" please instead of the "h/j". The latter moniker sounds more like a feature and benefit at a rub 'n tug parlor....er...so I've been told, that is.

What are you saying - traders don't always tell the truth?

Can we get this off the front page already? Not only is this just rumor-mongering, but it's false rumor-mongering at that.

Really false rumor mongering.
These guys have been so good for so long that they really don't deserve your derision. They were down 3% in Jan and up 20% in Feb. They've been that volatile since inception and must be up over 1000% in the last 4 years. Insanely good at what they do. And they've run at least 3 of their competitors into the ground in the last 2 years.

You can read many of John's old private emails while at Enron by going to enrontrampoline .com. Old news for sure, but a look into the mind of a wunderkinde who considered some employees "important" and others maybe not. Oh...and one email lists what he looks for in a "trader".
One lady did some major sucking up to JA in the emails and you'll see it for yourself.

DeLoss Doanmadder,
Would you mind posting the specific web addresses of the emails above that you mention? The website lets you paste specific links, like this one:

Thanks!

Those emails are from more than 6 years ago, and they really have no relevance today. Let it be.

Previous Poster was right, they were up almost 19% NET in Feb. How do I know, because of my capital statement they send each month.
