Anyone here have their CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) designation? Looking for anything in terms what it's like compared to the CFA and whether it's actually viewed as something important.
Thanks.

*that's AI world. I guess that brings another good point, the acronym "CAIA" is really a mouth full. There should be a rule that all professional designations be limited to three characters.

I just passed the March level I exam. I have no idea if it's really respected in the IA world, but the curriculum is great. I'm really just doing it for the education. The designation doesn't really do much for me in my current position.
Compared to the CFA, I'd say level I is significantly easier, but will require a lot more reading for the typical finance undergrad that the CFA level I.
