Fourth Day of Closed Markets

With the NYSE and the NASDAQ closed down for a fourth day in a row, we’ve now entered the longest period of closed exchanges since September 11, 2001. Many banks have also given employees the day off. Presumably, you are not glued to your television set watching the state funeral of Gerald Ford. So what are you doing with your day off? One of our trader buddies has already invited us to ‘noontime’ drinks, so you can guess how we’re planning to spend the day. But go ahead and leave a note in the comment section below and let us know what you’re planning on doing.
If by some crime against patriotism you’ve been forced into the office today, we invite you to share your lonely tale. It’s a national day of mourning, after all.
