200 Shares of LEH says he fails. It shouldn't even be that hard, that is probably less than 4,000 calories.

@47 Star Trek reference?
@88 Dylan Thomas reference?
@50 Holocaust reference?!

All of this trouble in the defense of inane comments?

Bess and Carney are right to edit out the B.S.

LEH will be back up to at least $12 for NB alone. This is overkill.

EP you just lost me.

Quoting from Atlas Shrugged rings too much of high school. I'm jumping ship to Clusterfuck.com or where ever Carney is going.

It has always been clear that just about everyone from crazy job applicants with workout videos, to kids who dress up like a fairy, summer interns, CEO's and everyone in between is up on the block. However, they always welcomed comments from the objects of their attention and said they would take things down if you appealed to their sense of common human decency.

If this woman is so upset she should write a short note to Bess and EP saying so and calmly ask them to at least take the pictures down. Those tossing out the claims of sexism should review some old DB posts and they will find that this site is an equal opportunity ridiculour.

Awesome Star Trek II reference. Clearly the best movie of the series.

"I've done more than kill you. I've hurt you. And I wish to go on...hurting you. I shall leave you as you left me. As you left her. Marooned for all eternity in the center of a dead planet. Buried alive... Buried alive... Buried alive..."

Anal_yst,

Yes they are still building that condo (right outside my window). It's on 45th Street on the 6th Ave side. What looks like the same rat used to be right in front of the condo.

From the Lek Career Page:

"Lek Securities Corporation seeks an Operations International VP

Responsibilities will include: Collect and analyze information to define operational problems and asses needs; analyze and develop database processes for automation. Requirements: MBA; Experience using C#; PowerPoint, SQL, VB Dot Net and Microsoft Excel including Pivot Table functions; Goal Seek; VBA programming for macros and Conditional Formatting."

- Why would you list conditional formatting as a necessary job skill, as it can be taught to someone in about 3 minutes?

This place sounds like a joke, but in this market I'm sure this little e-mail will make applications go through the roof.
