I wouldn't be so sure that UBS can avoid this one. In my opinion, what's in the prospectus overrules any other documents, at least in the EU countries. It appears that the Luxembourg regulator has already come out confirming this.

I very much doubt that he was an investment banker. Years ago, he worked for Credit Suisse, apparently in their retail network.

I guess it's that sense of entitlement that enrages so many people outside the finance industry.

The Crazy Horse is a place where dancers perform on stage. There are no lap dances etc. Sure, there are naked breasts, but their aim is more to provide sophisticated entertainment. Many couples go there.

I don't see those Carlyle directors putting forward any semblance of a convincing argument why the 'source of strength - doctrine' need not apply to private equity investors in banks, other than "we want our toys!".
