Sir Stan has nothing to worry about if he's been helping to launder money for drug-related U.S. intelligence operations.

He is a free man, perpetually, no matter what.

Actually, I like it when Elijah Cummings lets em have it. Matter of fact, I'd like to see him come out of his chair, jump over the desks and just pound the absolute shit of any banker within sight.

No problems with it at all.

It would be much better if taxpayer's representatives in Congress were prevented entirely from asking any questions about Goldman Sachs.

We just can't have folks asking questions about Goldman Sachs.

Please, please, let's make sure everyone understands: do not under any circumstances question anything ever done by Goldman Sachs.

Leave Goldman Sachs alone. They're very sensitive.

Don't go to business school. That path is done. The 90's are over, the 80's are over. Re-think everything you know and start over. Bhutan might be a good place to start.

Entry: Memo: Ed Liddy Getting The Hell Out Of AIG, Says Ed Liddy

posted by Garuda

#3 - neither. It's because Liddy, the former Goldman Sachs guy, successfully ensured that the taxpayer money that went into AIG made its way, eventually, back into the Goldman Sachs coffers.

So, he's done his job and may now count the money.
