Durbin is the same schmuck that asked Bush and Obama to release George Ryan (the last Illinois governor that's in the slammer). I would love to see where Shoemaker saw massive trading happen around the time Tricky Dick did his -stealing- selling.

Religious congregations provide numerous services to the community that improve the life of the community. Mental health, food pantries, after-school programs, family counseling and other services besides the emotional benefits of corporate worship. They should be the service providers that socialists want the government to take care of.
