Nonsensical writing that bears no relevance to the topic at hand is hard to tolerate. What value would a post containing one million random letters and numbers bring to the site? DB could go ahead and let such a post fly, but that'd be a rookie mistake for a popular site to make. It would smack of the libertarian baby-internet ideals of the late nineties. Rookie mistake.

JC was an indispensible part of DB's allure. He always hooked up the peanut gallery with tips he gathered from his network of smarty friends. Does Bess Levin have the hookups? Does she have friends? Equity Private, as cocksure as he is, doesn't seem all that concerned about passing tips on from one dude to the next. He's more about the razzle dazzle of his esoteric knowledge. Fuck him. Bess, she can't help herself, so she's ok.

But, whoever the new Big Dick is, he/ she/ they (if a tranny) better be generous with the tips and JC-esque enlightening analysis. If not, well then...an empty seat will open up in the peanut gallery.

I don't get why the fuck being a grandmaster at chess is supposed to be impressive? Playing chess is no different than any other task- like tying a good shoelace, wrapping a gift really nicely, or doing long multiplication in your head. If you suck at it, with practice you can get better.

Equity Private still sucks ass at writing articles for a financial gossip blog.

She's high brow...She's an insider...She's super articulate... But, she's not right for DB. She's an insider writing as an outsider (evidence the lack of posts breaking news) and perhaps funneling industry rumor/ info to the rest of the DB writing staff for them to write about. This presents Equity Privates's posts as a compromise from DB to an attention hungry, wannabe sensation. If Equity Private is to stay, then perhaps her posts could aim to be somehting more than simply counter programming to stuff from Bess.
