Yesterday, we mentioned that Anna Chapman, one of the ten Russian spies arrested by the Justice Department on Tuesday, had noted spending time working at Barclays as a “slave.” Almost immediately, the bank informed us that they have never even heard of this lady, and that there was no way in hell she’s ever worked for them. Earlier this morning, we mentioned that Anna Chapman, one of the ten Russian spies arrested by the Justice Department yesterday, claimed to have worked as a “slave” at Barclays. According to the bank, she lies! A spokesman has just informed us, “We ran a check and have no record of anyone named Anna Chapman working at Barclays at the time mentioned on the LinkedIn page – August 2004 to July 2005.”

Self-control oozes from every orifices on this one.

As mentioned ten seconds ago, ten Russian spies were busted yesterday by the Justice Department. One of them (code name: Cynthia), apparently had a bunch of face time with an unnamed “New York-based financier active in politics.” Another is Anna Chapman, left, who supposedly worked at a London-based hedge fund called Navigator. After that, according to Chaps’ LinkedIn profile, she was a VP at KIT Fortis Investments, and previously, a “slave” at Barclays. She also has some phenomenal testimonials.
