So important that authorities caught Michael Pickens hiding under a table with a stash of items he had allegedly stolen from a Connecticut fly-fishing shop. The 51 year old angler spent three days in jail, unable to make bail. What's worse, the fly-fishing arrest alerted authorities in New York of a bail violation related to charges of federal securities fraud in New York. He's been ordered to appear before a federal judge in New York today.
Presumably, Connecticut trout are safe from Michael Pickens flies this weekend.
