This Show Won't Be Exactly The Same As 'Entourage' Because, Unlike 'Entourage,' It Will Feature Men Who Are Making Obscene Amounts Of Money At A Young Age, Coke, Prostitutes And Old People, All Things Not Figured Heavily In 'Entourage'

The creator of the “Entourage” series, which chronicles the fictional life of big-deal actor Vince Chase and his hangers-on, is looking to the hedge-fund industry for his next creation. Variety reported last week that Doug Ellin has sold a still-untitled series to HBO that aims to be a “mature version of ‘Entourage’ set on Wall Street.”
Specifically, the show will focus on a hedge fund trader in his 40’s and his circle of friends — in other words, Mr. Ellin told Variety, “men who are making obscene amounts of money at a young age.”
A script is already being written, and Variety indicated that several “real-life situations” will serve as a basis for the plot.
