Wachovia Downgraded

Modern Wealth, the Wall Street Journal's answer to the Times' T magazine comes out this weekend and while the content is slated to suck, we do have a nice little Wachovia burn to look forward to, if you're into that sort of thing. For some reason lost on us, the model on the inaugural cover is wearing a dress made out of old front pages of the paper, and front and center is the one featuring former chief executive Ken Thompson's ousting from the bank. It was probably unintentional but we'll definitely keeping an eye on the glossy, on the off chance that the plan is for every issue to sartorially open old wounds for Jimmy Cayne/Stan O'Neal/Chuck Prince/Dick Fuld.
