Remember Anna Gristina? Woman accused of, and imprisoned for, allegedly running a brothel (supposedly in connection with a Morgan Stanley broker) out of an apartment on East 78th Street? In the tussle was forced to send away "all but two of her seven rescue pigs" in order to cover legal fees? Over the course of her stay it was suggested that Gristina might leak the identities of her high-profile clients, though no names were never revealed. But that was before her beloved boards, and they place they call home, were thrust into the cross-hairs. And before one lawyer found out he'd messed with the wrong Madam.
Anna Gristina, who was locked up on Rikers last year after refusing to dish on her clients to prosecutors, is ramping up her slash-and-burn campaign against the man she claims she went to jail to protect. High-profile civil attorney David Jaroslawicz is “the person I spent four and a half months in jail protecting,” Gristina told the Daily News. But all bets are off now that she claims he’s booting her from an upstate pig farm, where she’s been living with her husband and 11-year-old son. Gristina told The News she’s now prepared to release one name from her top-secret black book a week from his powerful circle of friends until he transfers the deed over to her...Gristina said Jaroslawicz was the person who owned the “brothel” she was charged with operating on E. 78th Street. Property records show the 1996 deed does link to the same address where Jaroslawicz practices law, but to a different attorney. A source close to Jaroslawicz denies he controls the unit. Gristina, who’s threatened to go public with client names several times before, said the reason she’s finally kissing and telling is that Jaroslawicz has moved to boot her from her farm in upstate Monroe. She says she gave him $40,000 in cash for the down payment on the 200-acre property, and that she had been paying for the mortgage, insurance, taxes and renovations in the 12 years since.
The lawyer was slammed for having “betrayed” the soccer mom by Gristina’s husband Kelvin Gorr in a Facebook rant by last week. “I’m telling the truth,” Gristina said. “Let him sue me. Then he can answer questions under oath.”
