The outgoing Gary Gensler & co. are going to take their time getting back up to speed post-shutdown.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission won't issue its weekly report Friday on trading in commodity markets that was suspended during the partial government shutdown, according to a commission spokesman….

"We have to conduct a quality review" of the backlogged data before the report can be generated, the spokesman said in an email.
