Frank Perkins Hixon Jr, who violated securities laws in the name of love (or something), has begun his sentence.

Former Evercore Partners Senior Managing Director Frank Perkins Hixon Jr. will serve his 30- month sentence at the US penitentiary, Canaan, located in northeastern Pennsylvania, 20 miles east of Scranton and 134 miles north of Philadelphia. The camp of 133 inmates is next to a high-security prison. Hixon, 55, pled guilty in April to using illegal inside information from 2010 to 2013 to trade shares through accounts of Destiny Robinson, his 36-year-old former girlfriend, and his father, Frank Sr. They pocketed nearly $1 million in illicit profits.
