Don't Make Steve Cohen Slash The Price On His Penthouse A Fourth Time

He already cut it once to $98 million (from 115) and now it's down to a mere $82 mill. At this point his practically giving it away and if the bargain basement price isn't enough to get anyone to bite, how about he sweetens the deal by throwing in a coupla signed 8x10 copies of this puppy?

The finance titan, who heads the Wall Street hedge fund formerly known as SAC Capital Advisors, has slashed the listing price of his palatial One Beacon Court penthouse to $82 million, down from an ambitious $110 million. If the penthouse has sold for its original asking price, it would have been the most expensive home ever sold in New York City and a historically profitable flip given that Cohen paid just $24 million for the apartment in 2005...The 9,000-square-foot duplex penthouse, in one of Midtown East’s most pricey buildings, was designed by starchitect Gwathmey Siegel and has four bedrooms, massive entertaining rooms, dramatic high ceilings, a chef’s kitchen and several staff rooms. “The duplex is an ideal residence for grand entertaining and glamorous living,” according to the listing.
