UBS Pretty Sure Its Human Rights Are Being Violated

From where it sits (Zürich), it seems pretty damned inhumane to the former Union Bank of Switzerland to make it fork over €1.1 billion for doing what a Swiss bank does. And it’s not afraid to say so.

UBS AG failed to win relief from having to pay a €1.1 billion ($1.37 billion) bond as part of a French probe into assistance provided by the Swiss bank to French tax evaders, prompting the lender to take its case to the European Court of Human Rights.
