Hedge funds find themselves in some unfamiliar territory this year: Ahead of the S&P 500. Like, way ahead. Like, better than 5% up against less than 2% up. Like, maybe alpha exists again?

Maybe shmaybe. Hedge funds are back, baby, and everyone knows it!

"May 2015 saw the largest increase in the Capital Movement Index in the past twelve months, as inflows easily outpaced outflows. In fact, outflows were the lowest recorded since the index's inception in 2006," said Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies.
