Remember when Jamie Dimon said this about Elizabeth Warren?
"I don’t know if she fully understands the global banking system.”
You should, it just happened on Wednesday. Anyway, it was a shot heard round the news cycle and errybody was like "Oooh, SNAP!"
It took about 48 hours, but Elizabeth Warren has finally recorded a dis track of her own, with help from her crew over at HuffPo.
When asked by the hosts of HuffPo's "So, That Happened" podcast (who were doing the best impression of what radio would sound like if Hot97 merged with NPR) about her thoughts on Dimon's comments, Warren busted out with this;
"The problem is not that I don't understand the global banking system. The problem for these guys is that I fully understand the system and I understand how they make their money. And that's what they don't like about me."
The sound of her mic clattering to the floor was not audible, but the delighted giggles of the HuffPo hosts were very clear. There were even some tart jokes about Jamie's "mansplaining."
No word yet if Jamie is with his homeboy B-Rabbit scribbling tight notes of rebuttal on the hood of a Hyundai.
