Greece, Creditors Are Friends Again

The European Commission is very pleased by the haste with which Greece and Alexis Tsipras completed their capitulation.
Parliament voted to accept a second set of economic overhauls demanded by its international creditors as a precondition to start talks over a third bailout package of up to €86 billion. The institutions overseeing Greece’s bailout found that lawmakers had approved the required measures “in a timely and overall satisfactory matter,” a spokeswoman for the European Commission said.
