Remember how everyone - and especially Bloomberg Media - was questioning President Trump's net worth when he threw his hideous hat in the presidential ring?
Well, what trolls around trolls around.
The Donald grabbed some QT with CNN's Wolf Blitzer to ponder the news that Mike Bloomberg is horrified enough by the idea of a Trump Administration that he is considering lowering himself back into politics. Wolf threw some meat on the table by bringing up the fact that Bloomberg is wealthier than Trump, and then Trump did what Trump does so well...
"I don't believe it, I don't believe it," Trump told CNN's Wolf Blitzer in an interview on Monday.
Tee hee. See what he did there?
But this is Donald Juarez Trump, you guys. Turning Bloomberg's wealth-doubting back against the man himself is fun, but sh!t-talking is an art and Trump is Pablo J. Picasso.
As for the source of that wealth, the Bloomberg Terminal is still ubiquitous on every trading desk on Wall Street -- and a total money machine.
But Trump says the Terminal is just begging to be displaced.
"I mean if somebody came in... likely... and comes up with a better machine than him, people stop using it," Trump said. "I don't even know why other companies haven't come up with a better machine. I mean why? It's so simple. They come up with such a competitive world, but for some reason they haven't come up with a machine."
While we slow clap the undisputed master of truth-bending media beefs, think for a minute on the idea that Trump has also just used his carnival-barker campaign skills to put himself on the same side of an argument as purported terminal-haters Jamie Dimon and Brian Moynihan.
