Remember when Elon Musk was going publicly insane on Twitter and he called that guy rescuing children trapped in a cave "Pedo Guy"? And remember how he got sued by that guy but continued to tweet anyway until the SEC was like "Bruh..." so he pretended to take a break.

Well, there's some news about the "Pedo Guy" thing:

Elon Musk on Monday said he did not intend to accuse a British diver of pedophilia by branding him a “pedo guy” on Twitter, as the Tesla Inc chief executive sought to dismiss a defamation lawsuit.

Elon and his lawyers can explain:

“‘Pedo guy’ was a common insult used in South Africa when I was growing up,” Musk, 48, who was raised in Pretoria, said in a court filing. “It is synonymous with ‘creepy old man’ and is used to insult a person’s appearance and demeanor.

So, the man who wants everyone to buy his cars and use his space rockets wants a California District Court to legally recognize that he doesn't know "Pedo" is short for "Pedophilia"? Okay...

“I did not intend to accuse Mr. Unsworth of engaging in acts of pedophilia,” Musk added. “In response to his insults in the CNN interview, I meant to insult him back by expressing my opinion that he seemed like a creepy old man.”

"Your honor, I wasn't saying Mr. Unsworth has sex with children, I was saying that he looks like someone who definitely wants to...I rest my case. Obama Netflix!"

Savants gonna savant.
